More Light

Fighting evil is a very noble job. But it is not your mission in life.

Your job is to bring in more light.

Stay completely out of such battles, arguments, and debates.

Not because you aren't able to win. Not because your heart is too delicate to go to war.

But because every bit of your energy needs to be dedicated exclusively to strengthening the good that you have built, to give your very life for it.

Then, only then, can you succeed.

On an Overcast Day... My old engineering college had the following motto on its coat of arms: "Post Nubes Lux" which when translated from the Latin means: "after the clouds--light!".

As a past student of this aeronautical teaching establishment, which provided its students with flight observation training, I can vouch for the great feeling of joy it creates when during a climbing flight in dense clouds they suddenly part and glorious sunlight is spread with cotton-wool like clouds spread out below from horizon to horizon, so its not exactly a new idea.

In my writing I try to spread some of this light too, if only others would bother to try to discover the light above, which is clouding their minds. This is one of the main human roles in life. The only question is who will try to receive this better knowledge and wisdom? Reply

This is an excellent visual metaphor, David and it brought back the first time I flew - not as a pilot, but as a passenger on a commercial airplane; I had a window seat. so was able to see going through dense clouds until we were above them and saw sunlight. Light Between Many Our sages who attained the purpose of creation tell us that we need to attract G_d's energy, His Light to connect us in the positive relationships between us.

Initially,
the sparks that have the desire to form this heart-to-heart connection must form this holy structure between them that existed before we our egos tore us apart …

Next,
this Light flowing between them will pour over many more, …

finally
His Light will dwell amongst all humanity who will be prepared to move to a higher level of being.

Now is the time when the sparks of desire to realize G_d's goal have awakened, gathered, and must work to pass this Light to connect all together in peace in a pleasant way. Reply

Our job is to raise others up, empathy and compassion are our life experience used to connect to others with the same issues and kindness to let them see they don't have to be lost in their experience because we are there for them. Today there is a mass of haters who lust after the transgression of others. These haters love to hate anything that offends them: and today the dumbest things offend people. Every human on this planet is of our creator and He is all the powers in One, with Checed/Kindness/Compassion being the One Power of all powers. We were created in that image so love everyone for Love's sake alone. Anyone can love the perfect but it takes the Power of G-d and His instruction to love the unlovable and be merciful to those that love to hate. I would rather die giving my enemy a drink, than live hating them, and wishing them dead. Reply

Let the Light repair the faulty Connections Each soul has 613 connectionso that enable his soul to form a bond of mutual love and giving, (the Creator's quality), with the all the other soul's qualities. These connections were broken when the One Soul shattered. They are now the 'impure 613 desires to receive for the self' within each person.

One needs to raise the special prayer MAN to request correction, when the Light reveals through sensations of despair our lowliness compared to the Creator. One becomes filled with 'more Light', his qualities resemble the Creator ...until all the fixed connections will reveal that everyone is connected within you. The Soul is 'awakened'.

When one is able to exit his ego - cross the Machsom (or his barrier of self-love) to enter the Spiritual levels, he is guided by the Creator to do spiritual work.

It was from this exalted place that the Rebbe imparted the wisdom of the Light to us. The external evil is only the consequence or dressing of our faulty connections. Reply

fighting evil The evil that we must now fight is Big Oil and the desires that enable it to profit egregiously from the distribution of a necessity of life. The same thinking is true for any industry that profits egregiously from the production and the bringing to market of any necessity of life, for the apportionment of land and its wealth is to be done not only meritoriously, by size and accomplishment, but equitably, by lot, or birthright. We have to figure out how to do this successfully if we are to survive as a species. Reply

I am not Jew but I believed in God... I believed that you can bring light to each person in this World no matter what.
My Jew friends, they have brought light in my life, and now I can bring light too.
Believe me, God will not punish you, if you bring light to other people or place. I think G-d will be happy.
Go take your light and transform the darkness that it may also shine!

Can I bring in more light at every place? I live totally among Non Jews (Catholics).
Can I bring in more light in every place I am?
Everybody knows now, that I am a Jew.
My son even says it openly now.
Deep indside I feel guilty living here and not in a place amongst Jews. It turns out that I have to stay here for the next three years.
I still have in my ears: "... and your footsteps were guided to reach that place. And you are here. Now." Can it be that this is "my place" G-dwanted me to be?
I have no difficulties to talk about my Jewishness (I can do it better than the average Jew, as I am used to Christian thinking. ) I do not understand it, but might it be possible, that a Jew can fulfill his *mission in life" at every place in the world? Reply
