Every Friday Night an average of 120 students come together for a delicious home cooked dinner just like they would have at home free of charge. Ok we know we can't compete with Mum's food ;-) but we try and it's definitely the highlight of many a students week!
And its not just the food.
Shabbat Dinners at Chabad Leeds Campus provide a place to meet other Jewish friends and connect as a community.
Most importantly it provides a constant connection to Judaism and its values.
People hear about the numbers we cook and serve for and gasp and say "How do you manage alone to produce food for so many people?''
The answer is we don't do it alone. We depend on people like you to help us. Whether you are a parent of a student or just someone that cares about the Jewish future your sponsoring will enable us to continue providing for Jewish Students at Leeds Campus.
A Shabbat dinner costs £1000
One can either sponsor the entire dinner or co-sponsor it for £500
